For Now Utah
There are many places Utahns can travel around the world in order to experience great service at premier destinations, but sometimes, the best luxury services start right at home. The “Private Concierge” service available at Silver Star at Park City lets guests have someone take care of their every need and can even have a detailed itinerary ready for them before they arrive.
Those who book one of over 100 condos, town homes or cottages at Silver Star will be automatically matched with a Private Concierge 72 hours before arrival. The concierge will book and arrange everything including a private butler, private chef, ski instructors, lift tickets, a private jet, spa packages and grocery delivery. For traveling families, they can even arrange for child care. It’s all part of what Resorts West, which manages the property, calls its “Highest Form of Living” program.
“We’re the only destination that offers Private Concierge service,” says Trina Hosmer, vice president of Marketing for Resorts West. “You have one point of contact for the entire stay. They can recommend an itinerary beforehand. They greet you at check-in and can check you in directly at the unit.”
During the stay, guests have access to the concierge 24-hours a day for whatever may be needed. “It’s the type of service people are accustomed to getting at a hotel,” Hosmer says.
Silver Star offers everything from two-bedroom, single-level condominiums, to town homes to cottages with five different suites split up among three different levels. All of the units, from smallest to largest, have large kitchens, dining rooms and living rooms where people can get together after a day in the snow. While the size of the options at Silver Star make it an ideal place for a large or extended family to get together, the spaciousness of the three-floor cottages are also an ideal place for a manager to book a working ski retreat for an executive team.
For the 2009-2010 ski season, Silver Star Resort will have all of its facilities, including a café and sports shop, fully open at Park City Mountain Resort. The Silver Star and its chair-lift sit on the former site of the old Spiro and Silver King mines, and the resort pays tribute to the mining history of Park City with many of the buildings containing parts of refurbished mine structures. Skiers and snowboarders can access the lift, which sits in the middle of a common area, just yards out the door from many of the condominiums, and head into 3,000 acres of snow. Shuttle service to the Deer Valley and Canyons resorts is also available.
Resorts West focuses on renting accommodations in the Park City area, including the Black Bear Lodge at Deer Valley, the Grand Lodge in Empire Pass at Deer Valley and the Silver Strike Lodge in Empire Pass at Deer Valley. Visitors can choose from everything from smaller condos to the “Ski Dream Home,” a 14,000 square-foot property nestled atop Deer Valley’s Baldy Peak. Those planning a trip can search for the property just right for them in terms of size, location and amenities.
Vacations are a time to go away and be pampered, but with the Private Concierge service available in Park City, world-class service is right around the corner.
